This week’s quote is something that has always been close to my heart. And I think many people don’t really get this.
These days, much of “self-help” and “spiritual” teachings put too much emphasis on trying to find your life purpose, your reason for being here, and how you can contribute to the world. Well you know, those things are important of course.
But I think the most important thing you can do in your entire existence here on Earth is to connect with your spirituality.
Self-Realization is the ultimate goal of living this life. Union with your inner Divine nature. This is the highest and most wonderful act you can do for yourself and for the world. As you integrate the different levels of your being, and you become balanced with inner peace, then you become a hundred times more effective for serving others, for doing your work, and for contributing to the world. Without that firm spiritual foundation you cannot serve others very effectively.
As more and more people come closer to their inner Divine Self, the entire human race advances and evolves. As you make your own personal spiritual effort, you are helping the whole of humanity to evolve. What an amazing gift is that to give to the world?
