Did you know that the best way to start your busy week is not to rush into it like a crazy headless chicken?
I know, you’ve probably got so many things to get done, so many emails to respond to, and so many responsibilities to organise today. But if you just dive in thinking you can’t waste time, you’ll only end up being less efficient, less focused, and most likely make more mistakes. If you allow yourself to be swept up in the storm of your hectic life you’ll lose your firm foothold, and you’ll be thrashing and flailing around.
In order to be able to deal effectively with life’s challenges you need a firm and stable foundation. You need to have your own inner poise from which you can calmly evaluate and act. You need to be centred in the calm eye of the storm… not flying around helplessly in its turbulence.
From your stable centre of inner peace you can act quickly and efficiently, striking down the problems that threaten to overwhelm you. Like a master you will move gracefully and lightly through your day, completing your tasks, and inspiring others around you.
To achieve this inner calm, all you need to do is to remember to take a few moments now and then to stop, breathe, and silently connect with yourself at a deeper level. If you can do this two or three times a day you will be able to master your hectic life.
